Soby’s New South Cuisine offers Southern cooking with a different je ne sais quoi. For instance, fried green tomatoes are paired with a pimento cheese fondue, and after you taste them you’ll wonder why it isn’t done more often. Collared greens and a cheese board are a couple of other items that round out the interesting juxtapositions on the ‘Southern Taste’ appetizer menu. The entrees are equally enticing, from filet Mignon to fish and fried chicken, they exemplify something other than normal run-of-the-mill southern food.
